Crewe town centre bank branch reopens following 'exciting' improvements
A Crewe town centre bank branch has reopened after a month, following a major refurbishment with new "exciting" improvements.
HSBC, Market Street, temporarily closed on Friday 26 January to undergo a "refresh," including internal building works.
Following the completion of works, including new signage and cash machines, the bank branch reopened at 9:30am on Friday 23 February.
A HSBC UK spokesperson told Nub News: "We continue to invest in our branch network to make our customers' experience banking with us a good one.
"We are pleased our Crewe branch is getting a refresh, with some painting, new signage and the installation of new state-of-the-art cash machines, which we are excited about.
"We were talking to customers about the temporary closure for a while before the branch closed.
"We explained while the work was being carried out, people could continue to use their nearest Post Office for day to day transactions.
"Our mobile and online banking is also available 24/7, in addition to being able to call our contact centre.
"Our branch team also ran community 'pop up' events at Crewe Library each Tuesday to support customers whose preference is to speak to someone face to face.
"Its exciting to open our doors again and welcome back our customers, who will hopefully love the improvements."
