Man found dead at Crewe farm following welfare concern report
A man from Leighton Hospital was sadly found dead at a farm in Crewe, following a welfare concern call in the early hours of the morning.
On Friday 5 April, emergency services were called to Red Hall Farm, Leighton, off Middlewich Road.
At around 5:30am, Cheshire Police and North West Ambulance Service arrived at the scene.
On arrival, a 32-year-old man was pronounced dead.
Officers immediately taped off the road, opposite Leighton Hospital, which reopened later that day.
The man's death is not being treated as suspicious, with a case file being prepared for the coroner.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At around 5.30am on Friday 5 April, officers responded to concerns for the welfare of a man in Leighton.
"Officers attended the scene at an address just off Middlewich Road, Leighton, where, unfortunately, a 32-year-old man from Crewe was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Officers are not treating his death as suspicious and a case file will be prepared for the coroner."
