Crewe's first office and sky bar development officially opened by Rugby World Cup winner
Radius has officially opened its new Global Telematics HQ in Crewe, with Rugby World Cup winner Martin Johnson CBE, cutting the ribbon to mark its launch.
Based a few hundred metres from its main Campus HQ on Crewe Business Park, Radius' new Arden Square development joins its five other existing buildings in the area.
The grand opening took place on the evening of Thursday 4 April, attended by staff, Radius partners, suppliers and customers, and a range of other guests from the local area.
Radius' new building is the home of its telematics business unit, featuring testing, warehousing and dispatch facilities as well as office space for our software development, sales, marketing, operations and finance teams.
With over 41,000 sq. ft of space, the building allows over 350 people to work collaboratively in a state-of-the-art environment.
The building, which features a Star Wars theme throughout, houses a barista coffee bar, pizzeria, sky bar and outdoor yoga area, complimenting the facilities at other Radius sites across Crewe.
A number of meeting rooms are available to host internal and customer meetings.
Former England rugby union captain, Mr Johnson, spoke to guests and cut the ribbon alongside executive chairman, Bill Holmes.
Bill told Nub News: "The opening of this new building is key to our commitment to providing a great working environment for all our employees.
"I am particularly excited it will incorporate state of the art facilities for our telematics business, supporting our ambition to become one of the true global leaders in this high growth market."
Founded in 1990, Radius has more than 2800 staff worldwide, with 52 offices across 19 countries.
