A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At around 12.30pm on Sunday 24 August, police were called to Heath Street, following reports that a man driving a white Volkswagen Taigo, had driven through a road closure.

Discover Crewe-on-Sea was a free, family-friendly seaside experience taking place from Saturday 23 August to Monday 25 August, running from 11am to 4pm each day.

The event transformed Lyceum Square into a colourful coastal pop-up, complete with real sand, a beach hut and boat, buckets and spades, hands-on entertainment, craft workshops and live performances.
