Man, 28, charged after armed police deployed in Crewe drugs raid

A Crewe man has been charged with being concerned in the supply of cannabis and possession of criminal property, after armed police were deployed to a residential street in the town.
On Friday 30 January, Cheshire Police conducted a warrant at an address on Elm Drive.
Around 3.30pm, officers swarmed the Crewe East street, arresting a 28-year-old male.
Ryan Cartwright, of Elm Drive, was charged with the listed offences and will appear at Chester Magistrates' Court on Monday 2 February.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At around 3.30pm on Friday 30 January, officers conducted a warrant at an address in Elm Drive, Crewe, and a 28-year-old man was arrested.
"Ryan Cartwright, of Elm Drive, Crewe, has since been charged with being concerned in the supply of cannabis and possession of criminal property.
"He will appear at Chester Magistrates' Court on Monday 2 February."
