Pedestrians pursued and threatened with weapon in Crewe car attack

Cheshire Police is investigating after two men were driven at by a car in Crewe, with the driver of the vehicle going on to threaten them with a weapon and pursue them up the street.
On the evening of Thursday 29 January, officers were alerted to an incident on Samuel Street.
Between 7pm and 7.30pm, two men were walking in the West End when a car appeared to drive towards them, with one getting hit.
The pedestrian, who suffered minor injuries, was then the subject of threats with a weapon from the car driver.
Both males involved got away from the scene, reporting the serious attack to police.
Officers are currently making enquiries to track down the car and the driver.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "Sometime between 7pm and 7.30pm on 29 January two men were walking towards Samuel Street in Crewe when a car appeared to drive towards them and collided with one of the men.
"A man got out of the car and threatened the men with a weapon before getting back in and continuing to follow the men along the street.
"The man who was in collision with the car suffered injuries which are believed to be minor.
"Enquiries are ongoing to trace the driver and the car."
