Crewe man arrested after car crashes through garden walls in three-vehicle incident

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving, driving without a licence and insurance, possession of a knife and failing to stop, following a collision in Crewe.
On Monday 22 July, Cheshire Police received reports of a three-vehicle collision on Kingsway.
At 4:50pm, officers arrived at the scene, discovering a collision involving a Volvo V50, Renault Clio and Ford S-Max.
Two garden walls were damaged in the incident, with one of the drivers fleeing the scene.
He has since been arrested for the listed offences. No one was injured in the collision.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 4.50pm on Monday 22 July, police were called to reports of a collision on Kingsway.
"Officers attended and found there had been a collision between three cars, a Volvo V50, a Renault Clio and a Ford S-Max.
"Two walls were also damaged during the collision.
"There were no reports of any injuries but one of the drivers fled the scene.
"A 23-year-old man from Crewe was subsequently arrested on suspicion of drug driving, driving without a licence, failing to stop following a collision, driving without insurance and possession of a knife.
"The man remains in custody at this time."
