Man arrested after armed police deployed to Crewe house
A man has been arrested on suspicion of affray, possession of a weapon and possession of class A and B drugs, after armed police descended on a Crewe house.
On Sunday 25 February, Cheshire Police were alerted to the welfare of a man on Sorbus Drive.
At around 10:50pm, local officers, supported by the firearms unit, arrived at the scene.
A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of several offences. He currently remains in police custody.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 10.50pm on Sunday 25 February police were called to reports of concerns for the welfare of a man at an address on Sorbus Drive.
"Local officers attended, supported by the firearms unit.
"A 25-year-old man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of affray, possession of a weapon and possession of class A and B drugs.
"The man remains in police custody at this time."
