Male pedestrian, 59, in hospital following 'serious' Nantwich e-bike crash

At 5.48pm on Thursday 4 September, Cheshire Police responded to a crash in Waterlode, involving a black Sur-Ron e-bike and a 59-year-old pedestrian (Ryan Parker).

Cheshire Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a serious crash involving an e-bike and a pedestrian in Nantwich.

At 5.48pm on Thursday 4 September, police were called to reports of a collision in Waterlode, involving a black Sur-Ron e-bike and a 59-year-old man.

The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains at this time.

The rider of the e-bike, a 20-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He remains in custody at this time.

Sergeant Andrew Dennison said: "We are now appealing for any witnesses to get in touch with us.

"The same goes for those who may have any dashcam footage of what happened.
