A major Crewe road is set to close for almost two weeks, located close to a primary school within the town.

Mablins Lane, between Falcon Drive and towards Mablins Lane Primary School, will be closed from Monday 24 July and Saturday 5 August..

This closure allows highway improvement works to take place.

The Mablins Lane road closure comes at the same time as Minshull New Road and Middlewich Street, with all three closing on 24 July (Ryan Parker).

Navus Property Solutions will be carrying out kerb replacement works before and after the road's junction with Sunnyside Place.

The footpath on this section of Mablins Lane will also be closed.

Emergency access will be maintained where possible.

This road closure comes at the same time as Minshull New Road and Middlewich Street, with all three closing on 24 July.

Minshull New Road will be closed between the junction of Meadow Brook Cemetery and Rolls Avenue for six weeks.

Navus Property Solutions will be carrying out kerb replacement works before and after Mablin Lane's junction with Sunnyside Place (Ryan Parker).

Cheshire East Council is responsible for the closure, allowing North West Crewe Package works to take place.

Middlewich Street will be closed for one month, allowing Scottish Power maintenance works to take place.
