Major Leighton road to close for six weeks later this month

A major Leighton road is set to close for approximately six weeks later this July, allowing North West Crewe Package works to take place.

Minshull New Road will close on Monday 24 July and will remain so until at least early September.

This road closure will run between the junction of Meadow Brook Cemetery and Rolls Avenue.

Cheshire East Council is responsible for the closure, allowing North West Crewe Package works to take place off Minshull New Road.

Contractors for the project, Balfour Beatty, will work alongside Cheshire East Highways for the construction of a new roundabout.

Emergency access will be maintained where possible.
