A major Crewe road is set to close for one month later this July, allowing Scottish Power maintenance works to take place.

Middlewich Street will close on Monday 24 July and will remain so until Friday 25 August.

This road closure allows Scottish Power to carry out maintenance works across the street.

Scottish Power has confirmed emergency access will be maintained where possible.

Diversion routes will be symbolised once the roadworks are in operation.
