A major Crewe road heading away from the town centre has been closed for two weeks - allowing utility repair and maintenance works to take place.

Edleston Road (southbound only), closed on Wednesday 4 January - remaining so for two weeks until the end of Tuesday 17 January.

This southbound road closure starts from the junction of Wistaston Road, Oak Street and Edleston Road.

Scottish Power is responsible for the closure of Edleston Road - allowing essential maintenance works to take place (one.network).

All bus services heading towards Nantwich Road from Crewe Bus Station will be diverting their routes.

Arriva are diverting via Vernon Way, Earle Street and Macon Way.

First and D&G bus services are currently diverting via Mill Street.

All services heading towards Crewe's temporary bus station are unaffected (Ryan Parker).

All services heading towards Crewe Bus Station are unaffected.
