Major Crewe road closed during the night this week

Nantwich Road, between the junction of Smallman Road and Mill Street is closed from 7pm until 6am every night until Thursday 25 January (Ryan Parker).

One of Crewe's major roads is closed throughout the night this week, allowing carriageway improvement works to take place.

Nantwich Road, between the junction of Smallman Road and Mill Street is closed from 7pm until 6am every night until Thursday 25 January.

The level three scrim works are being carried out by Cheshire East Highways.

The carriageway improvements are being carried out by Cheshire East Highways (Ryan Parker).

Pedestrian access to any premises situated within the temporary closure is being maintained at all times.

Cyclists are required to dismount in order for access to be maintained.

Vehicular access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and residents where possible.

Nantwich Road is remaining open between Mill Street and Crewe Railway Station (Ryan Parker).

Diversion routes will be via the following streets: Nantwich Road, Nantwich Road Roundabout, Weston Road, Weston Road Roundabout, David Whitby Way, Crewe Green Link Roundabout, Shavington Bypass, Shavington Bypass Roundabout, Roundabout A500 Cheerbrook, Crewe Road.
