A woman from London travelled around 141 miles to Crewe's Mighty Burger Club, just to buy her husband's "favourite" burger.
Mike, 'the self proclaimed biggest fan' of the burger joint, sent his wife Liz all the way to Crewe Market Hall to pick up the 'Fire Monster,' a beef burger with cheese, jalapeños, buffalo sauce, cajun seasoning and monster munch crisp.
Mighty Burger Club (MBC) says Mike frequently travels all the way from Ealing to Crewe to visit his friends and watch Crewe Alexandra FC play.
The restaurant said: "Whenever Mike is in town he always stops by for one of his favourite burgers. Since his first visit he has been hooked and claims to be our number one fan."
However, on 30 May, when Mike could not make it to Crewe for his favourite burger, he sent his wife Liz all the way from Ealing, West London, instead, who says she will be back again 'very soon'.'
Liz said: "I honestly cannot tell you how we love your (Mighty Burger Club) burgers and to be fair, I'm not normally a fan, but The Fire Monster I had was divine.
"I've told so many people about you guys since we met and at this stage, I think I' will be needing to hire a carriage on the train to take us all up to you very soon.
"You are a terrific team. Keep up the good work and we'll see you again soon."
Liz, who travelled approximately two and half hours on train, got the Central line from Ealing Broadway to Oxford Circus Station, Oxford Circus Station to Euston Station and then the London Northwestern Railway service all the way to Crewe.
MBC added: "Liz had been given the very important job of bringing a burger home for Mike, that's right all the way to Ealing.
"We couldn't believe one of our burgers was about to embark on such an epic journey.
"We took great care in preparing and packing Mikes burger ready for it to set off with Liz and we all agreed that Mike certainly was our biggest fan."
"What a legend Liz is though, as not only was it mission accomplished for Mike she snapped some pics of the journey for us."
