HASLINGTON Support Group volunteers have been thanked for their hard work supporting residents during the pandemic.

Crewe and Nantwich MP Kieran Mullan has included the group in his winter information leaflet, which he was delivering around the area.

On his rounds the MP met a member of the Haslington Support Group management team on Shelburn Drive and kindly accepted a used stamp collecting envelope to raise funds for the group.

The group says if readers would like to join in with the used stamp initiative they should go to the Haslington Support Group Facebook page or call the helpline number on 01270 419119.

They can post out a collection box for any organisation, or a prepaid envelope for individuals.

For more information go to the group's web site.
