Local man, 57, charged in connection with child sex offences

A local man has been charged in connection with child sex offences in Shavington.

Trevor Sewell was arrested at around 8.40pm on Friday 30 May at an address in the South Cheshire village.

Sewell has since been charged with attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child.

Trevor Sewell has been conditionally bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Monday 29 September (Cheshire Police).

The-57-year-old appeared at Chester Magistrates' Court on Monday 2 June, where he was conditionally bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Monday 29 September.
