Local community panto magic returns with Crewe Cinderella performance
By Ryan Parker/Jonathan White 21st Jan 2026
The Andrews Panto & Plays Society (TAPPS) brings the much-loved pantomime Cinderella to life at Crewe's St Andrew's Church Hall this January.
The annual production on Bedford Street takes place on Friday 23 January at 7pm and Saturday 24 January at 2pm and 7pm, promising plenty of feel-good fun for all ages.
Performed by members of the local community, Cinderella tells the classic fairy-tale story of a kind-hearted girl who, with the help of her fairy godmother, overcomes her cruel family, finds true love with a prince, and lives happily ever after.
Tickets are affordably priced at £5 for adults, £3 for children, or £12 for a family ticket (two adults, two children) and will be available on the door (payment via cash or card).
2026's pantomime proceeds will help Hopes and Beams in Crewe, a charity offering inclusive sports, arts, learning and activities for children and young adults with disabilities.

A TAPPS representative said: "Our pantomime is all about bringing people together, on stage and in the audience.
Cinderella is packed with fun, warmth and community spirit, and we're especially proud that it's supporting Hopes & Beams and the wonderful work they do locally."
Formed in November 2014, TAPPS was created to stage pantomimes for the St Andrew's church community.
Since then, the group has grown to include people from across the local area and beyond, working closely with church members to produce pantomimes, variety shows and play-reading evenings.
Beyond the stage, TAPPS members enjoy a lively social calendar, including theatre trips, country walks and community events.
As a non-profit group, all funds raised go back into supporting local charities and the church—making every ticket bought a contribution to the wider community.
With colourful characters, local talent and a charitable cause at its heart, Cinderella with TAPPS promises to be a highlight of Crewe's winter calendar.
