Tiger Trailers, has become the latest Founder Patron of The Dome Youth Zone, set to launch on Oak Street in Crewe this November.

The Winsford-based company, one of the UK's leading manufacturers of HGV semi-trailers, has pledged annual funding towards the running costs of The Dome, a purpose-built, state-of-the-art space for Crewe's youth.

The investment will ensure local young people have access to somewhere safe, inspiring and affordable to develop the confidence, skills and aspirations they need to thrive.

This announcement comes at a time when investment in young people is more important than ever, with more than one in three young people in Crewe's central wards estimated to be living in poverty.

The Dome will provide opportunities, support and positive role models to help young people build confidence, develop skills and fulfil their potential.

It will welcome young people aged eight to 19, and up to 25 for those with SEND.

For £3 a month, young people will get a hot meal per session, as well as access to more than 20 activities every session, including a climbing wall, fully equipped gym, music and recording studio, dance and drama studio, arts facilities, sports hall, outdoor 3G pitch and an enterprise and employability suite.

Tiger Trailers' support builds on its long-standing investment in young people through initiatives including its Tiger Safety Team, delivering free road safety education to schools across Cheshire and its apprenticeship programme, which has helped launch careers in engineering and manufacturing for more than a decade.
