How is the Crewe town centre demolition progressing?
Latest progress of the Crewe town centre development has been recorded by a Crewe resident - showing the current demolition work taking place.
The ninth instalment of the Crewe town centre demolition from Mr Jan Wright, shows demolition work being carried out last week (July 7).
Workers can be seen continuing to demolish the former bus garages - a demolition project that first started in May.
What has been done with the development recently?
Currently, the main work taking place is the crushing and removal of rubble on the site.
A large amount of bricks, concrete and tarmac have started to build up on the Crewe town centre site -following weeks of work knocking down the shelters.
Machinery is being used to crush the rubble into dust - making more space for demolition work to take place.
On the demolition video, Mr Wright says: "You can see it's just like dust coming out of the other end.
"There's not a lot happening here. A lot of rubble has been reduced considerably."
What is the situation with the demolition of the former bus shelters?
More scaffolding and white hoardings have been placed around the site.
In June, demolition workers were seen water spraying the bus garages roof with water after asbestos was discovered within the garages.
Damp asbestos materials release far fewer asbestos fibres into the air.
The bus shelters demolition work was expected to be completed last week. It is still not completed today (July 13).
Once it is finished, the construction work will begin on site.
