PLATFORM (formerly CreweCreates), will launch inside the former Burton Menswear/Dorothy Perkins unit at 77-83 Market Street on Saturday 29 November.

The ground floor art-space will be open from 2.30pm until 6.30pm on the day of Crewe's 2025 Christmas Lights Switch-on, with everyone encouraged to check out the new venue.

Earlier this summer, the 7,205 sq. ft. town centre building was sold at auction to a local businessman for an undisclosed fee.

Standing empty since August 2021, it is understood all floors of the corner building will be utilised, with the art-space ready on the ground floor.

Closing its pop-up store on 27 September, PLATFORM has ambitions to be a space where people have the freedom to be creative.

They are hopeful the new art-space and gallery will draw people into Crewe on the weekends.

PLATFORM (CreweCreates) said: "We have been not so quietly crafting something special behind the scene, and while it has taken a little longer than planned, we wanted to make sure our new ground–floor art-space is a place you will truly love.

"We are so excited to open our doors on Saturday 29 November and we can't wait to welcome you in, explore the space, and celebrate this new chapter together."

This move comes as Greggs, Market Street, relocated to 12 Victoria Street, temporarily taken on by the CreweCreates Artspace (now PLATFORM).

Opening on November 14, the new Greggs shop has public toilets, outdoor and indoor seating and a bigger range of food and drink.

Iced coffee is also being served at the new unit, with new made-to-order options available.

Trinapowellx clearly isn't from Crewe and never visits the town centre. This is something that moved from across the street and has been around for a while.
