Forensic expert to reveal the secrets of unnatural deaths at Crewe Lyceum show

CREWE'S Lyceum Theatre is to host a fascinating evening with one of the country's leading forensic pathologists.
Dr Richard Shepherd's work has seen him help solve the mystery of many sudden and unexplained deaths and now the published author is tasking his first ever theatre tour on the road.
The pathologist has performed more than 23,000 autopsies and worked on high-profile cases, including the Princess Diana Inquiry, 9/11 and the Hungerford Massacre.
Known also for his work on the TV series Autopsy: The Last Hours Of. . , The Death Detective and Murder, Mystery and My Family, Dr Shepherd's best-selling book Unnatural Causes spent more than ten consecutive weeks on the Sunday Times bestseller chart.
'Unnatural Causes: An evening with forensic pathologist Dr Richard Shepherd' will see the doctor telling the stories of the cases and bodies that have fascinated and haunted him the most, explain his admiration for the complexities of the human body and how he's lived "a life steeped in death".
He may even invite audience members on stage to help solve a real-life crime scene mystery.
Dr Shepherd will be at the Lyceum on November 4 and tickets priced at £28.50 can be booked here.
- The Lyceum is set to open for its first show since March 2020 with a leading Elvis tribute act, The Spirit of Elvis, on Saturday, August 28.
