Firefighters rush to put out 'discarded' BBQ blaze in Crewe

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service rushed to put out a "discarded" BBQ blaze in Crewe - with no one at the scene when they arrived.
The incident on Frank Bott Avenue, happened at 7:59pm on Tuesday 13 June.
One fire engine from Crewe quickly arrived at the scene - assessing the situation.

The crew found a discarded bbq which had caught fire and was getting out of control.
Crewe firefighters put out the flames used a hose reel jet.
The area was then dampened down and firefighters left the scene.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "A hose reel jet was used to put out a fire involving a discarded BBQ in Crewe.

"The area was then dampened down."
