Firefighters rush to hedge deliberately set on fire in Crewe

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service rushed to hedge blaze in Crewe - believed to have been started deliberately.

The incident on Nantwich Road happened at 8:50pm on Monday 27 February.

One fire engine from Crewe quickly arrived at the scene - before the flames had spread.

Crewe firefighters put out the Nantwich Road hedge fire using a bucket of water (Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service).

The crew put out the hedge fire using a bucket of water.

Thankfully, no one was hurt.

The incident is being treated as suspicious.

A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: 'A small fire in a hedge in Crewe was extinguished with a bucket of water by firefighters."
