Firefighters rush to Crewe car found 'well alight' in early hours of morning
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service rushed to put out a Crewe car found "well alight," in the early hours of the morning.
On Wednesday 26 July, Crewe firefighters were called to reports of a car blaze on Henry Street.
At around 4.40am, one fire engine arrived at the scene, finding a vehicle "well alight."
Firefighters put out the car blaze using a hose reel jet.
The new used a thermal imaging camera to check the vehicle before leaving.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "A car that was well alight was attended by firefighters who used a hose reel to extinguish it.
"They used a thermal imaging camera to check the vehicle before leaving."
Cheshire Police confirmed to Nub News there is no evidence the car fire was deliberate.
