Firefighters respond to arson attack alleyway blaze in Crewe

Cheshire Fire and Rescue service have responded to an alleyway fire in Crewe - believed to have been started deliberately.

The fire was small when Crewe firefighters arrived meaning it would be dealt with quickly.

There were no injuries reported from the incident that is believed to be an act of arson.

A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Firefighters used one hose reel to put out a small fire in a Crewe alleyway."

This incident comes after an arson attack on an abandoned building blaze in Crewe - earlier this week.

The incident on Electricity Street was reported at 8:32pm on Tuesday (August 30).
