Fire crews tackle blaze of 'large vehicles' in Crewe for two hours
Fire crews tackled a serious blaze involving a "number of large vehicles" in Crewe for two hours, taking place in the middle of the night.
On Thursday 16 May, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service received reports of an incident on Clay Lane, Haslington.
At 2:21am, two fire engines from Crewe and Sandbach arrived at the scene.
Firefighters used two hose reels to put out the flames, which had started to get out of control.
No one was injured in the incident, with the fire not believed to be an act of arson.
Firefighters left the scene at around 4:20am.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "A fire involving a number of large vehicles was attended by firefighters who used two hose reels to put the fire out.
"Crews were in attendance for approximately two hours."
