Emergency services rush to 'suspicious' van blaze in South Cheshire
Emergency services rushed to van on fire in South Cheshire - believed to have been started deliberately.
The incident on Queens Drive, Nantwich, happened at 11:10pm on Tuesday 21 February.
One fire engine from Nantwich and Cheshire Police officers arrived at the scene.
Firefighters put out the van blaze with a hose reel. No one was injured.
Cheshire Police officers are currently investigating the incident.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "A van on fire was extinguished with a hose reel.
"A thermal imaging camera was also used to check the vehicle was fully extinguished before crews left."
On Thursday (February 23), Cheshire Police confirmed the incident to Nub News.
A spokesperson said: "At 11.15am on Tuesday 21 February, police were made aware of a van fire on Queens Drive, Nantwich.
"The incident is being treated as suspicious and anyone with any information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML 1484878."
