Delays expected on major Crewe road for up to three weeks

Delays are expected on a major road in Crewe for up to three weeks, with a parapet wall being repaired following a recent road traffic collision (RTC).
Two-way traffic lights were installed on Minshull New Road on Monday 23 September, at its section going over Leighton Brook.
Cheshire East Highways is responsible for the roadworks, with the temporary signals in place at all times until at least Saturday 12 October.

In a recent RTC, the parapet wall on Minshull New Road going over Leighton Brook was severely damaged.
This wall is now being fully rebuilt in a highway maintenance and repair project.
