Delays are expected on a major road in Crewe for up to three weeks, with a parapet wall being repaired following a recent road traffic collision (RTC).

Cheshire East Highways is responsible for the roadworks, with the temporary signals in place at all times until at least Saturday 12 October.

In a recent RTC, the parapet wall on Minshull New Road going over Leighton Brook was severely damaged (Google).

This wall is now being fully rebuilt in a highway maintenance and repair project.
