A WOMAN who bombarded her sister with abusive messages has been placed on an electronic tag curfew for eight weeks.
Nicola Plant sent her sibling a string of offensive text messages and Facebook posts, South Cheshire Magistrates' Court heard.
Plant had became embroiled in a domestic dispute with her sister, Lorraine Plant, calling her a "f....ng skank" and branding her partner "a paedophile".
She also sent messages to the victim's mother, Lesley Millington.
When she was questioned by police about how the messages would be perceived by her family, Plant said "she didn't care".
Prosecutor Luke Unsworth said her victim was forced to move home and install CCTV.
In a victim impact statement Lorraine Plant stated she suffered from anxiety as a result of her sister's actions and was "constantly looking over her shoulder" because her sister had found out where she and her mother had moved to.
Plant, 38, of Smith Grove, Crewe admitted a charge of harassment without violence and sending an offensive message by means of a public communications network on July 15 and July 19 last year.
Solicitor Stuart Flood said that Plant was a "troubled lady" who had had issues with her sister for four years.
"She is 38 today, so this is not a happy time for her. Put you have to put this into context as she has been suffering from her own mental health problems for a number of years," outlined Mr Flood, who said Plant's harassment of her sibling had stopped.
"She has had trouble with alcohol stemming from when she was suffering from abuse from a former partner."
Magistrates handed Plant an eight-week curfew between the hours of 7pm and 8am and imposed a one-year restraining order on her. She also has to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85.
