Tom's Tap & Brewhouse told Nub News: "Owners, Jacqui and Sean Ayling, are genuinely stunned and pleasantly surprised by the number of folks who voted for us.

"We've already had a couple of first-time visitors on the back of the poll and we really hope this will bring in a few more.

"At a time when the hospitality industry is consistently facing new challenges from what seems to be every quarter, we're really heartened that Crewe people, some of the warmest we've ever met, have shown us so much love.

"We're hoping to announce some more news that regulars and newbies alike will be very excited to hear later this week so keep an eye on our socials."

Other notable mentions were Albert's Corner with 39 votes, The Arena Crewe with 36 votes, The Cheshire Inn, Nantwich Road, with 33 votes, The Express, Mill Street, with 29 votes and The Horse Shoe, North Street, with 27 votes.
