Crewe retailer with shop chain applies to serve alcohol 24/7
A Crewe retailer has applied to serve alcohol for 24 hours seven days per week, as well as serving late night refreshments until 5am.
On Wednesday 27 September, Euro Garages Limited submitted a premises license application in of Asda Express PFS Crewe Basford West, Jack Mills Way, Shavington.
The British retailer, which operates filling stations, convenience stores and fast-food restaurants, seeks permission for the supply of alcohol 24/7.
It also seeks to serve late night refreshments from 11pm until 5am, seven days per week.
The licensing application is on display at the 24-hour garage, which changed from a Sainsbury's On The Go to Asda On The Move in winter 2021.
Euro Garages is owned by billionaire brothers Mohsin and Zebra Issa, who are also majority stakeholders in Asda.
Representations to Euro Garages' application shall be made in writing to Cheshire East Council Licensing Section on or before Wednesday 25 October.

Currently, the Crewe garage has a Greggs, Starbucks on the go, Totally Wicked and Vape Dinner Lady store inside.
