The 2025 Crewe Remembrance Sunday Service will take place on Sunday 9 November, with Nub News assembling the key details.

The Remembrance Sunday Service is organised by Crewe Town Council in partnership with the Crewe branch of the Royal British Legion and everyone is welcome to attend.

2025's Remembrance Parade will muster at the Market Sheds on Lyceum Square at 10.15am, with all welcome to join.

The parade will lead into Memorial Square in time for the service to begin at 10.45am.

At 11am, the two minute silence will be observed, giving guests, residents and visitors the opportunity to make their own personal silent tribute to all those who have died in the service of their country.

The service is due to finish by 12.30pm.

If you would like to lay a wreath, there will be an opportunity to do so at the end of the service. Wreaths should be purchased directly from the Royal British Legion Poppy Shop.

Road closures for Remembrance Sunday

For Crewe Remembrance 2025, the poppies have been created into chains which will be used to decorate the Market Hall. The Mayor and Deputy Mayor joined Creative Crewe to help with the stitching.

A Crewe Town Council spokesperson told Nub News: "The annual Crewe Remembrance Sunday Service and Parade is an opportunity for us all to gather as a community to show our collective respect to all of those who gave their tomorrow for our today.

"It is important that we never forget the lives that have been sacrificed in the service of our country."

Glad to see them going along Queensway. They'll get to see what a real war-torn bombsite wasteland of a battle-zone looks like.
