Crewe rail station now has special artwork on Platform 12 thanks to Cheshire Buddies
Mayor of Crewe, Councillor Dawn Clark, was there to watch special artwork produced by the Cheshire Buddies group unveiled at Crewe rail station.
Various pieces of art, including a giant mural made from recycled materials featuring Crewe's rich heritage, were unveiled at a special ceremony on Platform 12.
Local community artist, Sue Guildford-Potts of Junk Art Creations, helped the youngsters to do the artwork which took four months to complete.
The talented artist helped put together designs for a giant mural, a mosiac and other artwork working with Cheshire Buddies – celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
"It was an exciting project and I'm thrilled with the results," said Sue, whose Facebook page is here
