The Flying Lady, Coleridge Way, demonstrated it sits within the centre of a community with a 'huge heart', following a successful Sunday Funday event for charity.
Landlady, Gill Griffiths, and her friends organised the event to specifically raise money for the Heart Unit at North Staffordshire Hospital, following the recent deaths of two regular pub goers, Dave Griffiths and Ian Shaw.
The day featured a range of activities for both children and adults, ultimately raising the magnificent total of £742.

Children enjoyed games like 'Beat the Goalie,' Face Painting, and a Lucky Dip.
For the adults, there was Stand Up Bingo, Beer Pong, and an hilarious version of Mr and Mrs.
Gill told Nub News: "Wow, what a community. "Here on the Sydney Estate, we look after each other, so when the opportunity arose to raise money and have a bit of fun, it was a no-brainer.
"We are proud to raise funds for such an important cause and thank the local community for their support.

"A big thank you to Belinda for her help in organising the charity event."
The Flying Lady also recently raised £600 for charity following a 12-hour darts competition at the venue.
