Crewe man to appear in court after being charged with 'driving offences'
A 23-year-old man from Crewe is set to appear in court within the town, after being charged with "driving offences."
On Saturday 29 July, Cheshire Police were alerted to a wanted black Land Rover, after it passed an ANPR camera, heading towards Nantwich.
At around 12:15pm, traffic and firearms officers made the location, with the vehicle stung on the A530 Middlewich Road.
The Land Rover continued on three flat tyres to a car park on Barony Road, Nantwich, where multiple officers attended.
A 23-year-old man from Crewe was arrested for driving without a license and insurance, taking a vehicle without consent and for the possession of an offensive weapon.
He has since being charged with "driving offences."
The man has been bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Monday 21 August.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "A 23-year-old Crewe man has been charged with driving offences.
"At 12.15pm on 29 July the driver of a Land Rover was followed by police and was subsequently arrested "in a car park on Barony Road, Nantwich.
"He was charged with driving without a licence and no insurance and bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates on 21 August."
