Crewe family wins huge Co-op festive hamper following 'exciting' Christmas Scavenger Hunt

A Crewe family has won the 'exciting' 2022 Christmas Scavenger Hunt - receiving a huge Co-op festive hamper prize.

Soujana Goskonda entered the competition on behalf of her two daughters who found nine stickers from nine businesses around Crewe.

The Christmas Scavenger Hunt competition opened on Monday 21 November and ran until Wednesday 14 December.

On Tuesday (December 20), Mrs Goskonda received her prize - a Co-op festive hamper.

The Crewe mum, originally from India, told Nub News: "It was really exciting to find the letters of Scavenger hunt.

"We mainly came to know about the Co-op Scavenger hunt from the Wishing Well Children and Families Hub where we visit regularly for kids activities.

"We found few letters on the way to school and during weekend shopping.

On Tuesday (December 20), Mrs Goskonda received her prize - a Co-op festive hamper (Ryan Parker).

"We felt amazing when we came to know that we won the hamper and my kids were even more excited about it."

The Christmas Scavenger Hunt was a collaboration between Crewe Nub News and the Co-op.

A number of families took part in the competition - heading down to the the town centre and other popular businesses around Crewe to look for the window stickers.

Mrs Goskonda added: "Crewe is a very peaceful place to live in with limited crowd and we love all the activities for children in Crewe library, Wishing well, Oaktree, Crewe Market Hall and Queens Park.

"Thank you to Crewe Nub News and the Co-op for this great hamper."
