Crewe complete signing of former Liverpool player who featured in Europa League

Crewe Alexandra have completed the signing of a 31-year-old former Liverpool player - who once featured in the Europa League.
David Amoo became Crewe's fourth winter transfer window signing on Thursday afternoon (January 19).
The right winger moved from EFL League Two side Stevenage after the Hertfordshire club agreed to let him leave for free on Wednesday (January 18).
Amoo joined Liverpool's academy from Millwall in July 2007 and was part of the squad which reached the 2009 FA Youth Cup final.

Under manager Roy Hodgson, Amoo made his debut for Liverpool's first team in the Europa League third qualifying round away to FK Rabotnicki in July 2010.
This was the only time Amoo would feature for Liverpool - loaned out to MK Dons when Kenny Dalglish became manager in January 2011.
Amoo went on to have loan spells at Hull City (2010-11) and Bury (2011-12) - before signing permanently for League One side Preston North End in 2012.
The London-born winger had a short stint at Tranmere Rovers before having two successful seasons at Carlisle United (2013 to 2015), scoring 16 goals.

Amoo spent time in Scotland with Partick Thistle until 2017 before returning to League Two with Cambridge United and then Port Vale.

The former Liverpool player spent three seasons at Vale Park - netting 10 times in 100 appearances.
In the summer of 2022, Amoo signed for Stevanage but struggled to break into the first team.
Crewe have now secured Amoo's services on a permanent deal until the end of the season.
The 31-year-old can play on either flank and has linked up with his new teammates at Reaseheath.
Crewe were delighted to sign Amoo who is available for selection in the Cheshire Derby.

A statement read: "Everybody at Crewe Alexandra would like to welcome David to the club, and wish him all the very best during his time at The Mornflake Stadium."
Crewe host Stockport County at Gresty Road on Saturday (January 21) - kick off 3pm.
