By Ryan Parker 27th Apr 2026
A popular drive thru coffee chain in Crewe has temporarily closed, allowing for a major refurbishment.
Costa Coffee, Lockitt Street, on Dorothy Flude Retail Park, closed on Thursday 23 April.
Open in Crewe since 2021, this site is one of four Costa Coffee outlets in the town.

The others are located on Grand Junction Retail Park, Jack Mills Way and Phoenix Leisure Park.
Scaffolding is currently around the site, with workers expected to complete renovations by the beginning of May.
A Costa Coffee Spokesperson told Nub News: "Our Costa Coffee store on Dorothy Flude Retail Park, Crewe, is temporarily closed as it undergoes an exciting refresh.
"We look forward to welcoming customers back to their new and improved store at the beginning of May."
