Crewe Alex supporters rallied behind forward Shilow Tracey, sidelined by a horror leg fracture, with a heartfelt card they signed inside the club shop.

Tracey sustained the injury in Crewe's 4-1 home defeat to Fleetwood Town on Tuesday 4 March, taking the full force of a challenge from The Cod's Danny Mayor.

The 26-year-old suffered a broken leg close to the home dugout, shocking Alex players, staff and fans.

Following Shilow Tracey's injury, Crewe Alex supporter, Tracy Bee, took the lead on organising a giant card for fellow fans to sign within the club shop (John Rodgers).

Tracey was given medical attention on the pitch and was stretchered off following a 10-minute halt to the EFL League Two match.

Crewe's number 10 was soon taken to hospital via ambulance from Gresty Road.

The following day, Tracey underwent a successful operation putting him on the long road to recovery.
