Everybody Health & Leisure is coming together to support Ian Greenhalgh, a much-loved Crewe fitness lead, group exercise instructor, and personal trainer, recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Ian's recent diagnosis has been devastating for him and his family.

While Ian is recovering from a recent liver biopsy, his loved ones are hoping for treatment options allowing them to spend precious time together.

Everybody Health & Leisure has organised a fundraising cycling challenge on Monday 17 March from 6am to 10pm across sites in Shavington, Crewe, Nantwich, and Barony (Everybody).

To show support for Ian, Everybody Health & Leisure has organised a fundraising cycling challenge today (March 17) from 6am to 10pm across sites in Shavington, Crewe, Nantwich, and Barony.

The goal is to collectively cycle 661 miles, the distance from Gütersloh, Germany (a military base where Ian was stationed), to his home in Crewe.

Supporters can take part by booking a 30-minute bike slot for £10, riding as far as they can to help reach the total mileage goal.

For those who prefer to contribute in other ways, donations can be made directly through a GoFundMe page, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to support Ian and his family.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will go directly to Ian and his wife, Tracy, giving them the chance to create special memories together.

One of their hopes is to take a sunny holiday, with the community coming together to help make this dream a reality.

Organiser of the fundraiser, Martha Chambers, said: "I am sure most of you will recognise Ian Greenhalgh our beloved fitness lead, personal trainer and group exercise instructor.

"He and his family have just received the heart breaking news that he has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

"We want to fundraise for them so they can make memories in whichever way they chose going forward and we want as many people involved as possible.

"All proceeds will go directly to Ian and Tracy, so lets do this for them."
