Three members of a county lines gang who used vulnerable young people to sell drugs between Birmingham and Crewe, have been jailed.

Delon Parkinson, Lomar Meade, and Deshay Harris were sentenced for their roles in running the operation, which involved trafficking heroin and crack cocaine.

They were also convicted of modern slavery offences for exploiting young people to transport and sell the drugs.

In February 2024, police raided the Crewe apartment, arresting Lomar Meade and Deshay Harris (West Midlands Police).

Police identified Parkinson, 28, traveling between Birmingham and Crewe, where he set up an apartment as a base for drug sales.

Young people were sent there to work under his direction, alongside Meade, 20, and Harris, 19.

In February last year, police raided the Crewe apartment, arresting Meade and Harris.

Officers found more than £1,200 in cash, heroin wraps, and nearly 100 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine.

Multiple burner phones linked to the drug operation were also seized. Shortly after, Parkinson was arrested in Birmingham with additional drugs in his possession.

All three have now been sentenced. Parkinson received nine years in prison, including six for drug offences and three for modern slavery.
