A major ladies' budget fashion chain looks set to permanently close its Crewe town centre store, with no date yet confirmed.
Bonmarché, Victoria Centre, will be shuttering in the near future after five 'Closing down everything must go' posters were put up on storefront windows this January.
The British retailer, which focuses on casual wear, smart dresses and accessories for the over-50s market, currently has over 225 UK stores.
This January, Crewe staff confirmed to Nub News their store would be closing, but told us to contact Head Office for more details.
Founded in 1982 by the late Parkash Singh Chima in West Yorkshire, the chain was given was French-sounding Bonmarché name, meaning "good deal."
With three stores in nearby Stoke-on-Trent and one in Warrington, Bonmarché previously operated over 380 stores before entering administration in 2019.

As of early 2024, Bonmarché, has been focusing on stabilising its portfolio, with plans reported to open new smaller sites in city locations, alongside sister brand Peacocks.
Bonmarché is currently open in Crewe from 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Saturday.
Crewe Nub News has contacted Bonmarché for comment on its Victoria Centre store.
