Person found dead on railway tracks in Crewe

A person has been found dead on the railway tracks in Crewe, with emergency services deployed to the scene.
On Thursday 29 January, British Transport Police were called to Parkers Road, following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
At around 8.20am, North West Ambulance Service paramedics arrived at the scene, pronouncing the person dead.
The incident is not being treated a suspicious, with a file to be prepared for the coroner.
A British Transport Police spokesperson told Nub News: "Officers were called at around 8.20am on Thursday 29 January to reports of a casualty on the tracks in the Crewe area.
"Officers responded with paramedics, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The incident is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
