A popular pop-up calendar shop has opened in a Crewe town centre shopping area, in time for the busy Christmas period.

Calendar Club officially launched inside the former Clintons, Market Shopping Centre, at 9am on Wednesday 13 November.

The seasonal store specialises in retailing a variety of calendars, diaries, planners and gifts in the run up to Christmas.

Since forming in 1998, Calendar Club has become a common sight in shopping centres and high streets across the UK and Ireland.

The pop-up chain looks to trade in over 200 stores every year, with Crewe often one of them.

Last year, Calendar Club was located inside the former River Island and Chainstore unit, most recently home to Ping Pong Parlour.

A Calendar Club spokesperson told Nub News: "Our Crewe store is now open for the Christmas period.

"Looking for the perfect place to cross off your Christmas shopping list? Look no further.

Calendar Club is open 9am until 5pm (Monday to Friday), 9am to 5.30pm (Saturday) and 10am until 4pm (Sunday) (Ryan Parker).

"You will find us in The Market Shopping Centre seven days a week until January.

"We have a wide variety of products for you to choose from, including calendars, diaries, planners, gifts, and even official football merchandise.

"Our store offers something for everyone, so you can find the ideal gift for your loved ones this Christmas.

"If you can't find what you're looking for, don't worry, our store also offers click and collect, allowing you to browse our full collection online and collect your order in-store.
