A 20-year-old Cheshire man has been charged with sexual offences involving an 18-year-old woman in Crewe, following an investigation by Eastern CID.

Sam Williams, from Flint Court, Ellesmere Port appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on 11 July to face the charges of assault by penetration and rape.

The offences took place in Crewe and Northwich, involving an 18-year-old woman.

Williams was remanded in custody to appear at Chester Crown Court on 8 August.
