Cheshire man arrested following drug driving incident in Crewe
A man from Macclesfield was arrested in Crewe, following a drug driving incident in the town over the weekend.
On Tuesday 18 June, Cheshire Police pulled over a silver Peugeot 207 on David Whitby Way.
The driver of the car was arrested at the scene after failing a roadside drugs test.
A 30-year-old man from Macclesfield had cocaine and cannabis in his system.
The man has since been released under investigation, pending further enquiries.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 1:20am on Saturday 15 June, officers stopped a silver Peugeot 407 on David Whitby Way.
"The driver of the car was arrested after failing a roadside drugs test for cannabis and cocaine.
"The 30-year-old man from Macclesfield has since been released under investigation, pending further enquiries."
