A shop in Crewe is planning to extend its weekly opening hours until midnight, at the site of a lost West End pub.
On Tuesday 11 June, Grosik Sklep Supermarket submitted a premises license application on behalf of its premises at 120 West Street.
The European business, currently open weekly until 11pm, seeks permission for the retail sale of alcohol, off the premises, between 6am and 12am (Monday to Sunday).
Grosik Sklep's licensing application is on display at the former Prince of Wales pub, which permanently closed in December 2015.
The premises license application reads: "Notice is hereby given that I, Botan Yosef Ali have applied on 11th June 2024 to Cheshire East Council in respect of the premises known as Grosik Sklep Supermarket, 120 West Street, Crewe.
"This is for a full variation to provide the supply of alcohol, Monday to Sunday, 6am to 12am, off the premises."
Representations to Grosik Sklep Supermarket's application shall be made in writing to Cheshire East Council Licensing Section on or before Tuesday 9 July.
You can also submit your representation by emailing: [email protected].
