CCTV images released following reports of criminal damage outside former Crewe pub

Cheshire Police officers have released CCTV images of individuals they are looking to speak to, in relation to a series of incidents outside a former Crewe pub.

Over the past few months, officers in Crewe have received several reports of criminal damage outside of the Nag's Head, Market Street, which permanently closed in 2020.

At 5.09pm on Tuesday 5 December, an unknown group of individuals sprayed profanity on a wall of the premises, threw objects at an exterior window, breaking it, and knocked over a nearby wheelie bin.

Several similar reports at the same address have been made over recent months (Cheshire Police).

A few weeks later, at around 7.07pm on Tuesday 19 December, the same individuals caused further damage to the property, throwing rocks and bricks and breaking two windows.

Officers are appealing to anyone with any information regarding incidents at this address to come forward.

Police Constable Lorna Allix, of Crewe Local Policing Unit, said: "Enquiries in relation to this incident are ongoing.

"As part of our investigation, we are keen to the individuals in the footage as we believe they may be able to help with our investigation.

"I would urge anyone who recognises these individuals in the CCTV to come forward so that we can progress with our enquiries. 

Cheshire Police officers are appealing to anyone with any information regarding the Crewe incidents to come forward (Cheshire Police).

"I would also ask the people in the CCTV to contact us."
