Casualty rescued from car following late night collision close to popular Cheshire landmark

Cheshire Fire and Rescue service carefully rescued a casualty trapped in a vehicle - following a collision close to a popular Cheshire landmark.
The incident happened at 11:46pm last night (August 17) - on Bates Mill Lane, Beeston - close to Beeston Castle.
Three fire engines from Chester, Tarporley and Malpas attended the scene - approximately 14 miles from Crewe.
Firefighters found a person trapped inside their vehicle after it had collided with a hedgerow.
Due to the casualties injuries, the service's medical director was called to the scene.
They directed firefighters on the best way to safely remove the person from the car.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Crews were called to a report of a road traffic collision shortly before midnight, involving one vehicle in collision with a hedgerow.
"One casualty was trapped in the car and owing to the nature of their injuries, the Service's Medical Director was called to the scene to direct firefighters on their safety extrication.
"A specialist towing vehicle and equipment was used to winch the car to a safe position to enable the casualty to be removed.
"They were then passed into the care of paramedics.
"Firefighters were at the scene for around an hour and 10 minutes."
The incident happened approximately one-mile from the North Wales Coast Line between Crewe and Chester.
